From our latest sales figures we learned what we already suspected: between 80 and 90 percent of the requests for a speaker we get are for specific names. Mostly potential clients have been going around on the internet, identify a speaker, and then make the link to the Chinese Speakers Bureau. That is fine for us, and makes our work easier, but not necessarily the best way to the best speaker.

When you have already made up your mind, we of course are happy to help you out. But every now and then, we can add value by selecting a speaker from our huge resources. China is a fast developing part of the world, and looking for the best speaker for your needs is not that obvious.

What industries can they cover? How much are they exposed to the Chinese realities? What is their background? How much experience they have in addressing your kind of audience?

We have to admit: it makes our work nicer, if we can do a bit more than drafting contracts and discussing logistics. And if that is all we need to do, we are not going to complain. But when you are not 100 percent sure about a speaker, or what you exactly want to cover at your meeting or conference, we are more than happy to give you a hand.
